The engagement was announced 7 December, 2024, between Edward James B. Elston (born 1992), eldest son of Mr Howard J. Elston (born 1954), of Netton, Wiltshire, and his former wife, Mrs Ed Mead (nee Briony Jago born 1961), of Ibberton, Dorset, and Camilla Margaret (Millie) Mountain (born 1 April, 1993), daughter of Sir Edward Brian Stanford Mountain, 4th Baronet (born 19 March, 1961), of Delfur, Moray, and his wife the former Charlotte Sarah Jesson Pownall.
