His Honour Christopher Hordern, KC, died 8 October, 2022. He was 91.
Alfred Christopher Willoughby Hordern, was born 8 February, 1931, scion of that landed gentry family, son of Lieutenant-Colonel Clifford Willoughby Hordern [1891-1966], and his wife the Hon Mary Angela Mond [1901-1937], daughter of the 1st Baron Melchett [1868-1930]. He married 9 December, 1957, Gwenda Margaret Mark [born 1934], daughter of Wing Commander Ronald Turnbull Mark [1898-1958], and his wife the former Gwendoline Maud Rainbow [1898-1979], by whom he had a son, Mark Jocelyn Willoughby Hordern [born 14 Jan, 1960], and two daughters, Venetia Mary [born 4 Aug, 1958], and Candia Harriet Gwenda [born 14 Oct, 1963].
