Peter Haig Loyd, who died 13 May, 2022, aged 99, was a scion of that landed gentry family, of Lockinge.
He was born 9 October, 1922, son of Capt Wilfrid Haig Loyd [1893-1971], and his wife the former Emily Charlotte Eileen Oakeley [1896-1978], scion of the baronets of that name; married 1stly, 1950 [div 1957], Suzanne Duncan [b 1928], daughter of Eric McLeod Duncan; married 2ndly, 26 Aug, 1961, Rosemary Joan Moir [1942-97], daughter of John Moir. He married 3rdly, 10 Oct, 1998, Rosemary Anne Markham Crook, daughter of David Moore Crook, DFC [1914-1944], and his wife the former Dorothy Margaret Middleton.
Peter Loyd leaves a son and two daughters from his first marriage, and a son and daughter from his first marriage.
