The engagement was announced 2 February, 2022, between Harry John Carr-Ellison [born 1991], scion of that landed gentry family, of Hedgeley Hall, youngest son of Major John McMorrough Carr-Ellison [born 1952], of Hedgeley, Northumberland, and his wife the former Catherine Babington Smith [born 3 March, 1952], descended from the Barons Hollenden, & Daisy V. Andrew, daughter of Colonel and Mrs Robert Andrew, of Noltomia, Laikipia County, Kenya.
