[John] William Clark-Maxwell, who died 4 November, 2021, was head of that landed gentry family, of Speddoch.
He was born in 1933, son of John Noel Clark-Maxwell [1903-1987], and his wife the former Anne Joan Fearnley-Whittingstall [1906-1985], of that landed gentry family; and married Juliet Nina Stratton [born 1942], scion of that landed gentry family, by whom he had a son, James [born 1975], who succeeds him as head of the family.
