_.Roxanna Doria [Zanna] van Oss, who died 29 March, 2021, aged 81, was descended from the extinct Dukes of Newcastle-under-Lyne.
The former Roxanna Doria [known as Zanna] Neumann, she was born in November, 1939, daughter of Stefan Hubert Neumann [1899-1974], and his 2nd wife, the former Lady Doria Lois Pelham-Clinton-Hope [1908-42], elder daughter of the 8th Duke of Newcastle-under-Lyne [1866-1941], and his second wife the former Olive Muriel Thompson [who died 1912].
She married firstly, 1960 [div 1969], William John Vicary; married 2ndly, 1970 [div 1985] Peter Humphrey Alexander van Oss [1936-2020]; married 3rdly, 14 June, 2006, William Randolph Hubard.
She leaves two sons from her first marriage, Alexander and Benedict Vicary.
