Dowager Lady Rowley [died 2021]

 _. The Dowager Lady Rowley, who died 2 March, 2021, was the widow of Sir Charles Rowley, Bt [1926-2008], of Naseby Hall, Northants.

She was the former Astrid Massey, daughter of Sir Arthur Massey, CBE, MD [1894-1980], sometime Hon Physician to King George VI, and married 10 Dec, 1952, Charles Robert Rowley, son of Lt-Col Sir William Rowley, 6th Baronet [1891-1971], and his first wife the former Beatrice Gwendoline Kirby.

Her husband succeeded his father, 11 Nov, 1971, as 7th Baronet, of Hill House, Berkshire [created in 1836], and he succeeded his kinsman, Sir Joshua Rowley, 7th Bt, as the eighth holder of the baronetcy, of Tendring Hall, Suffolk [created in 1786]. 

She was widowed 11 May, 2008.

The Dowager Lady Rowley leaves issue, a son, Sir Richard Rowley, 8th & 9th Bt [born 14 Aug, 1959], and a daughter, Caroline [born 28 June, 1955].
