_. The Baroness Milverton, who died 20 April, 2020, aged 88, was the wife of the 2nd Baron Milverton [born 1930].
She was born in 1931, the former Mary Dorothy Fly, daughter of Leslie Fly, of Corsham, Wiltshire, by his wife the former Alice Wheeler, and married 10 Aug, 1957, the then Hon Fraser Arthur Richard Richards, son and heir of the 1st Baron Milverton, GCMG [1885-1978], by his wife the former Noelle Brenda Whitehead.
Her husband succeeded his father, as 2nd Baron, 27 October, 1978. He was priest in the Church of England, ordained Deacon 1957, Priest 1958; Curate, St George's Beckenham, Kent, 1957-59; Assistant Priest, St John the Baptist, Sevenoaks, 1959-60; Curate and Assistant Priest, St Nicholas, Great Bookham, Surrey, 1960-63; Vicar of Okewood with Forest Green, Surrey, 1963-67; Rector, Christian Malford with Sutton Benger and Tytherton Kellaways, Wiltshire, 1967-93.
Lady Milverton is survived by her husband and two daughters, Susan [born 1962], and Juliet [born 1964].
