The engagement was announced 25 July, 2019, between Maximilian Augustus Roos [born 1985], son of Francis Jacques Roos [born 1945], of Ormonde Gate, London, by his wife the former Sarah Anen Fitzalan Howard [born 1951], scion of the Dukes of Norfolk, and Ursula Pauline Liberty Gwynn [born 1984], daughter of Paul M.D. Gwynn [born 1954], of Newmarket, Suffolk, by his wife the former Suzanne Coppinger, of Sydney, New South Wales

Maximilian Roos is a grandson of Lord Martin Fitzalan Howard [1922-2003], by his wife the former Bridget Anne Keppel [1925-2011], scion of the Earls of Albemarle.

Lord Martin was a younger brother of the 17th Duke of Norfolk.
