The marriage took place in July, 2005, between Lord Edward John Francis Manners(b. 1965), younger son of the 10th Duke of Rutland, CBE (1919-99), by his 2nd wife, the former Frances Helen Sweeny (b. 1937), daughter of Charles Sweeny (1909-93) and of Margaret Duchess of Argyll (1912-93), & Frau. Saskia Nixdorf, former wife of Martin Nixdorf.
