_.Amelia Anderson [nee Blackett, born 1984], wife of Thomas P.P. Anderson, & scion of the Blackett baronets, gave birth to a daughter, Daisy Cecilia, 22 May, 2019, a sister for Jemima, Phoebe and Theodora.

Thomas Anderson is the son of Mr & Mrs John Anderson, of Little Harle Tower, Kirkwhelpington, Northumberland.

Amelia Anderson, a scion of the Blackett Baronets (Bt, England, cr 1673), is daughter of Sir Hugh Francis Blackett, 12th Baronet (b 11 Feb, 1955), of Halton Castle, Corbridge, Northumberland, by his wife the former Anna Coldwell.

Clara Dido Woodfield (born 2019)

Catriona Helen Woodfield (born 1984, nee Cairns), wife of Alexander Richard Woodfield (born 1985), and scion of the Earls Cairns, gave birth to a daughter, Clara Dido, in 2019, a sister for Hugh Alan, born in 2017.

Catriona is a daughter of Francis John Hugh Cairns (born 1 August, 1942), and his wife the former Ulla Agneta Bylander.

Catriona Woodfield is a great-great-granddaughter of the 1st Earl Cairns.

The Baron Spicer, PC 1943-2019

_. Lord Spicer, PC, life Baron, Conservative peer, died 29 May, 2019. He was 76.

William Michael Hardy Spicer was born 22 January, 1943, son of Brigadier L. Hardy Spicer, and was educated at Wellington College and Emmanuel College, Cambridge.

He was Conservative MP for South Worcestershire, Feb 1974-1997, and for West Worcestershire, 1997-2010; served as a Junior Minister in the Thatcher Administration; was Chairman of the 1922 Committee from 2001-2010.

Spicer was knighted in 1996, and created a life peer on leaving the Commons, taking the title Baron Spicer.

He married in 1967, Patricia Anne Hunter, by whom he had issue, a son and two daughters.

Hon Sir David Sieff 1939-2019

_. The Hon Sir David Sieff, who died 27 May, 2019, aged 80, banker and company director, was a director of Marks & Spencer, and was descended from Michael Marks, co-founder of the company.

He was born 22 March, 1939, son of Marcus Sieff [1913-2001], a life peer as Baron Sieff of Brimpton, who was a grandson maternally of Michael Marks. His mother was the former Rosalie Fromson, divorced from Marcus Sieff in 1947.

David Sieff was a Director of Marks and Spencer for over 20 years and chairman of FIBI Bank [UK] Ltd. He was knighted in 1999.

He married in 1962, Jennifer Walton, by whom he had two sons, Simon and Jonathan.

The funeral is at Golders Green Crematorium, Monday 3 June, 2019.

_. The Hon Jane Green, who died 26 May, 2019, aged 91, was a scion of the Barons Bicester. She was born 12 February, 1928, as the Hon Jane Beatrix Randal Smith, second daughter of the 2nd Baron Bicester [1898-1968], of Tusmore, Bicester, Oxfordshire, by his wife the former Hon Dorothea James [died 1974], daughter of the 3rd Baron Northbourne. She married 4 April, 1949 [div 1991] John Richard Daniel Green, by whom she had issue, a son and two daughters.

The funeral takes place, 18 June, 2019, at St Stephen's, Sparsholt.

Tessa Baring [nee Bridgeman] CBE,1937-2019

_.Tessa Baring [nee Bridgeman, born 1937], CBE, scion of the Viscounts Bridgeman, died 25 May, 2019. She was 81. Mrs Baring was Chairman of the Baring Foundation 2004-2008.

She was born in 1937, a daughter of the Hon Sir Maurice Richard Bridgeman, KBE [1904-80], by his wife the former Diana Mary Erica Wilson; married in 1960, Peter Baring [born 1935], sometime head of Barings Bank, scion of the Barons Revelstoke, son of Francis Anthony Baring [1909-40], by his wife the former Lady Rose McDonnell, DCVO[1909-93], scion of the Earls of Antrim, and Woman of the Bedchamber to HM The Queen, 1953-93, by whom she had three sons.

The funeral takes place at St John's Church, Notting Hill, 18 June, 2019.

Lady Montgomery 1935-2019

_. Lady Montgomery, who died at her home, 24 May, 2019, aged 83, was the wife of Sir [Basil Henry] David Montgomery, 9th Baronet, former Lord Lieutenant for Perth and Kinross, of Kinross House, Kinross.

She was the former Delia Reid, born 25 July, 1935, daughter of Admiral Sir John Reid [1903-73], by his wife the former Jean Dundas [1909-71], and was a great-granddaughter of the 12th Earl of Home.

Sher married 5 April, 1956, David Montgomery, who succeeded to the family baronetcy, 28 January, 1964. She was the mother of six children, 2 sons and 4 daughters.

A Thanksgiving Service is to take place at St Ninian's Cathedral, Perth, 26 June, 2019.

Brigadier Adam Brampton Douglas Gurdon, CB, CBE, DL 1931-2019

_. Brigadier Adam Brampton Douglas Gurdon, CB, CBE, DL, late the Black Watch, died 22 May, 2019. He was head of the landed gentry family of that name, and father-in-law of Lord Lloyd-Webber.

He was born in 1931, son of Major-Gen Edward Temple Leigh Gurdon, CB, CBE, MC [1896-1959], of Burgh House, Suffolk, by his wife the former Elizabeth Madeleine Wilson [1901-67]; married 1958, Gillian Margaret Thomson, by whom he had issue. His daughter, Madeleine Astrid, married, as his third wife, 1991, Andrew Lloyd Webber, the composer, later created a life peer as Baron Lloyd-Webber.

The funeral takes place at St Mary's Church, Woodbridge, Suffolk, 11 June, 2019.

._Lauren Weatherill [nee Coombs], wife ofThomas Bernard Weatherill, gave birth to twins, a daughter Arabella Ottilie Anne, and a son, Henry Charles Bernard, 21 May, 2019, a sister and a brother for Florence & Charlotte.

Thomas, a grandson of a Speaker of the House of Commons, is the son of the Hon Bernard Weatherill, QC (b 1951) & Mrs Sally Weatherill, both of London, & Lauren is a daughter of Dr Timothy Coombs, of Cape Town, South Africa, and Mrs Jane Coombs, of Churchill, Oxfordshire.

Thomas Weatherill is a grandson of the late life peer the Baron Weatherill (1920-2007), who was Bernard Weatherill, MP was Speaker of the House of Commons, 1983-92.

The Baron Moore of Lower Marsh, PC 1937-2019

_. The Lord Moore of Lower Marsh, PC, former Conservative MP and government minister in the administration of Margaret Thatcher, died 20 May, 2019. He was 81.

John Edward Michael Moore was born 26 November, 1937; served as Conservative MP for Croydon Central from February, 1974 until 1992; was briefly Secretary of State for Health & Social Services, 1987-88; and prior to that had served in the Thatcher administration as Financial Secretary to the Treasury and Minister of Transport; retired from the House of Commons in 1992 and was created a life peer taking the title Baron Moore of Lower Marsh, of Lower Marsh in the London Borough of Lambeth.

He was predeceased by his wife Sheila, and leaves three children, Stephanie, Martin and Richard.

Sir William Roger Clotworthy Moore, 3rd Baronet 1927-2019

William Roger Clotworthy Moore was born 17 May, 1927, son of Sir William Moore, 2nd Baronet, and Ethel Cockburn Gordon [died 1973]; succeeded his father in the baronetcy, 1978; married in 1954, Gillian, daughter of John Brown, of County Antrim; one son, one daughter. Educated at Marlborough and the Royal Military College, Sandhurst; Lieut, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, 1945; Major, North Irish Horse, 1956; High Sheriff of County Antrim, 1964;  DL County Antrim, 1990.

He is succeeded by his son Richard William Moore, born 8 May, 1955.

The funeral takes place at St Paul's Parish Church, Kildollagh, 31 May, 2019.

Sir Timothy Kitson 1931-2019

_. Sir Timothy Kitson, who died 18 May, 2019, aged 88, was Conservative MP for Richmond, North Yorkshire 1959-83, and was Parliamentary Private Secretary to Edward Heath, as Prime Minister 1970-74, and as Leader of the Opposition 1974-75.

Timothy Peter Geoffrey Kitson was born 28 January, 1931, the son of Geoffrey and Kathleen Kitson, and was educated at Charterhouse and the Royal Agricultural College Cirencester.

Elected MP for Richmond in 1959, he was an Opposition Whip 1967-70. Kitson was knighted in 1974.

He married in 1959, Diana Mary Fattorini, daughter of Edward William Fattorini, by his wife the former Edith Hannah Rhodes, and by her he had one son and two daughters.

Richard Gillachrist Moore 1931-2019

Richard Gillachrist Moore, who died 15 May, 2019, aged 88, was a scion of the Moore baronets; a yr son of Sir Alan Moore, 2nd Baronet [1882-1959] by his wife the former Hilda Mary Burrows [1897-1950]; married 1955, Ann Hilary Miles, daughter of Wing-Commander Charles Cleaver Miles, MC, RAF [1887-1949]; 2 sons, 1 daughter. His son, Charles Hilary Moore, is the journalist and writer, and former editor of the Daily Telegraph.

The funeral took place at the Church of St Mary Magdalene, Whatlington, 31 May, 2019.

_. Sophie Eila Voelcker [nee Brandram, born 23 January, 1981], wife of Humphrey Walter Voelcker (b 1980), gave birth to a son, Alexander Paul, 13 May, 2019, a brother for Maximillian Walter, who was born 4 Feb, 2018.

Humphrey Voelcker is a son of Mr Peter P. Voelcker, of Fowey, Cornwall, by his wife the former Alison Van D. Edwards.

Sophie Voelcker is a scion of the Brandram landed family, & descended from the Royal House of Greece & Denmark, elder daughter of (Richard) Paul George Andrew Brandram (b 1 Apr 1948), of London, by his former 1st wife the former Jennifer Diane Steele (b 1951, now Mrs Robert Enslow, also of London).

Sophie Brandram's paternal grandmother was HRH Princess Katherine of Greece & Denmark (1913-2007), who married Richard Campbell Brandram (1911-94) and became (by courtesy of King George VI)  'Lady Katherine Brandram'.
