Cecil Edward Sanford Barclay (1914-2009)

_.Cecil Edward Sanford Barclay, who died 25 Jul 2009, aged 94, was as
cion of the Barclay Baronets (cr NS 1668).
He was b 1914, son of the Rt Hon Sir Colville Adrian de Rune Barclay,
KCMG (3rd son of the 11th Baronet). Cecil's elder brother, Colville
Herbert Sanford Barclay succeeded their uncle as 14th Bt in 1930.

He married (i) 1939 (div 1957) Yvonne Eleanor Mutch, dau of Sir
William Shenton; married (ii) 1958, Marcia Isobel Mary (now deceased),
dau of John Horatio Macoun. He leaves issue from his 2nd marriage, a
dau, Melanie.


Funeral Service at St Nicholas' Church, Oakley, Suffolk on Monday 3rd
August 2009.

James Alastair Sholto Douglas, who died 24 July, 2009, aged 69, was

John Erskine, DSO, 4th Baronet (cr UK 1821). The funeral Service
takes place at the Parish Church of Donhead St Mary, Nr Shaftesbury,
Dorset, on Monday, 10th August 2009.

Camilla's daughter expecting twins

While Prince William and Kate Middleton have yet to announce a wedding date, Prince Charles' stepchildren are pressing on enthusiastically with family life.

His wife the Duchess of Cornwall's daughter Laura Lopes is expecting again - and it's twins. Her idyllic country wedding to City accountant Harry Lopes was quickly followed by the birth of Eliza, now 18 months.

Camilla also has another granddaughter from the marriage of her son, food writer Tom Parker Bowles, to fashion editor Sarah Buys.

The couple wed in a sophisticated ceremony, attended by the likes of Hugh Grant and Sir Mick Jagger in London 2005.

Peter Acloque is a son of David Acloque, of Lenwade, Norfolk, by his
wife the former Sarah Carolyn Gurney, scion of that LG family (descended from the
Boughey Baronets). Peter's father is a twin of the late Guy Acloque (d 19 Jun 2008), who married the Hon Camilla Scott-Ellis (b 1947), a dau and co-heiress of the 9th Baron Howard De Walden.
