The engagement was announced 16 September, 2026, between Mungo Henry S. Akerman (born 27 March, 1995), the eldest son of Hugo S. Akerman, of Brightling, East Sussex, and his wife the former Valentine Bridget Arthur (born 11 September, 1968), scion of the Arthur baronets, and Annie Ada'ora C. Chigbo (born 1999), the only daughter of Ms Joanna L. Cooksley, of Bishopston, Bristol.
Mungo Akerman is descended from the Arthur baronets, the Barons Monteagle of Brandon and the Earls of Harewood.
