The engagement was announced 22 August, 2026, between Jack Augustus Thomas Pike (born 18 February, 1994), eldest son of Robin Pike, of London, and his wife the former Hon Georgiana Mary Grimston (born 7 September, 1961), and Harriet Patricia Cave (born 9 September, 1995), the elder daughter of Nicholas Stephen Cave (born 22 April, 1961), of Ottery St Mary, Devon, and his wife the former Alexandra Frances Elizabeth Hicks (born 1961).
Jack Pike is a grandson maternally of the 2nd Baron Grimston of Westbury (1925-2003), and the bride-to-be is a great-granddaughter of Sir Charles Cave, 4th Baronet (1927-1997).
