Katherine Anna (Kate) Legh (born 1991), and Douglas Grant, have announced the birth of their second son, Hector Per Wynter, 2 March, 2026, a brother for Ivo David Kelso, who was born 19 January, 2024.
Douglas C.I. Grant, is a son of Sir John Douglas Kelso Grant, KCMG [born 17 Oct, 1954], of Buckhorn Weston, Dorset, and Lady Grant.
Kate Legh, a scion of the Barons Newton, daughter of the Hon David Piers Carlis Legh [born 21 November, 1951], of Cubley, Derbyshire, by his wife the Rev Jane Mary Bee.
Kate Legh is a granddaughter of late 4th Baron Newton [1915-1992].
Douglas Grant's father is a retired British diplomat whose last diplomatic post was Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom to the European Union between 2003 and 2007.
