Rachel James, who died 6 December, 2025, aged 81, was a scion of the Harvie-Watt baronets. She was born 31 May, 1944, daughter of Sir George Harvie-Watt, 1st Baronet (1903-1989), and his wife the former Jane Elizabeth Taylor.(who died 2003). She was twice wed, firstly, 20 March, 1970, to Iain Gordon Taylor, who died 2005, and secondly on 29 May, 2009, to D.N.H. [Nicky] James.
