Martin Ramon Savile de Bertodano, who died 19 September, 2025, aged 87, was a grandson of the 6th Earl of Mexborough.
He was born in 1937, son of Andrew Ramon Dalzell de Bertodano (1912-1957), and his wife the former Lady Mary Elspeth Sylvia Savile (1914-1948), third daughter of the 6th Earl of Mexborough (1868-1945), and the Countess of Mexborough (nee the Hon Margaret Eva de Burgh Knatchbull-Hugessen (died 1957), scion of the Barons Brabourne; and married in 1967, (Mary C) Tessa Avery (born 1942), daughter of Philip Avery, by his wife the former Ilona de Walzel.
He leaves issue, one son, Andrew (born 1978), and three daughters, Helena (born 1968), Sylvia (born 1969), and Isabel (born 1976).
