The engagement was announced 22 January, 2025, between James Charles (Jamie) Kelly (born 1995), youngest son of Major James Richard Kelly, of Angus, and his former wife Susannah Maria Scott (born 1963), scion of the Scott baronets & Katharine Wallace (Kitty) Single (born 1995), youngest daughter of James Vallack (Jamie) Single (born 1959), of Midlothian, and his wife the former Suzanne Wallace Adam (born 1962).
Jamie Kelly is a grandson maternally of Sir James Walter Scott, 2nd Baronet (1924-1993).
