The engagement was announced 11 December, 2024, between Hamish Arthur L. Pearson (born 1995), son of Mr & Mrs Nicholas Pearson, of High Littleton, Somerset, and Lara Georgina Windham Phillpotts (born 21 April, 1995), daughter of Simon Vivian Surtees Phillpotts, of Dorstone, Herefordshire, and his wife the former Emma Rose Dymock Windham (born 6 March, 1959), scion of that landed gentry family, descended from the Dukes of Bedford.
