The engagement was announced 9 November, 2024, between Patrick van 't Hoff, son of Mr Jean-Philippe van 't Hoff, of The Hague, Netherlands, and the Hon Marina Olivia Astrid Martyn-Hemphill (born 22 October, 1992), third daughter of the 6th Baron Hemphill (born 8 October, 1954), of London, and his wife the former Sarah Jane Frances Lumley (born 1956).
