The engagement was announced 23 November, 2024, between the Marchese Manfredi San Martino D'Aglie di San Germano (born 1987), son of Marchese Filippo Manfredo San Martino d'Agliè (born 1953), and his wife the former Cristina Flesia, of Campiglione-Fenile, Piedmont & Flora Diana Katharine Cecilia Connell (born 24 February, 1990), elder daughter of Jolyon Christopher Neill Connell (born 16 May, 1952), of Lacock, Wiltshire, and his wife the Lady Alexandra Victoria Caroline Anne Moncreiffe (born 30 July, 1955), daughter of the late Sir Rupert Iain Kay Moncreiffe of that Ilk, 11th Baronet CVO, QC (1919-1985), and his first wife Diana Denyse Hay, Countess of Erroll (in her own right) (1926-1978).
