The engagement was announced 22 November, 2024, between Nima Amin, only son of Kamran and Gelareh Amin, of South Kensington, London, & Catherine Picton-Turbervill (born 1995), scion of that landed gentry family, the only daughter of David Picton-Turbervill (born 1964), of Four Marks, Winchester, Hampshire, by his wife the former Lucy C. Manners (born 1964), descended maternally from the Trafford landed gentry family and from the Barons Petre and Barons Clifford of Chudleigh.
