Adene Leona Agnew (died 2024)

 Adene Leona Agnew, who died 11 November, 2024, aged 99, was the widow of Stephen William Agnew (1921-2001), scion of the Agnew baronets.

She was the former Adene Leona Brady, daughter of John Vincent Brady, and married 1stly, 12 September, 1951 (div), John Butler Cookson (1924-2003), son of Kenneth Cookson, OBE (died 6 March, 1963), and his wife the former Vivienne Tilla Butler, scion of the Butler baronets; and married 2ndly, Aug, 1967, Stephen William Agnew (born 31 July, 1921), third son of Sir John Stuart Agnew, 3rd Baronet (1879-1957), and his wife the former Kathleen White (died 5 May, 1971). Her second husband died 1 Dec, 2001.

Adene Agnew leaves a son and a daughter from her first marriage, Christopher Cookson (born 1954), and Elizabeth Julia Cookson (born 1953), who married in 1975, (Thomas) Julian Barclay (born 1950), scion of that landed gentry family, of Higham.
