The engagement was announced 19 October, 2024, between Samuel Luke (Sam) Pittard (born 1988), younger son of Mr and Mrs Paul Pittard, of Oborne, Dorset, & Constance Rose Knollys Hawker (born 1990), daughter of the late Richard Charles (Dickon) Hawker (who died 1992), and his wife the former Louisa Ella Delamotte Wood (born 22 July, 1959), now of Salway Ash, Dorset.
Connie Hawker is a descendant of the Wallop Earls of Portsmouth.
