The engagement was announced 5 August, 2924, between Thomas de Grey (born 23 January, 1997), scion of the Barons Walsingham, the only son and heir of the Hon Robert de Grey (born 21 June, 1969), of Merton, Norfolk, and his wife the former Josephine Elizabeth Haryott (born 1968), & Malina Mihalache, daughter of Mr and Mrs Mitica Mihalache, of Vorona, Botosani.
Thomas de Grey's father, Robert, is heir apparent to his father, the 9th Baron Walsingham (born 21 February, 1925).
