The engagement was announced 13 August, 2024, between Hal Julian George Crichton (born 16 February, 1995), scion of the Earls of Erne, second son of Desmond Cadogan Crichton (born 10 March, 1953), of Pilton, Northamptonshire, and his wife the former Emma Jane Crawshay (born 1955), & Zoë Caroline Twiston-Davies (born 24 October, 1992), third daughter of Audley William Twiston-Davies (born 13 November, 1950), of Kilpeck, Herefordshire, and his wife the former Hon Caroline Mary Elaine Harbord-Hamond (born 15 December, 1960), daughter of the 11th Baron Suffield (1922-2011).
