Nicholas Anthony William Mancroft Garthwaite, who died 30 June, 2024, aged 72, was a scion of the Garthwaite baronets.
He was born 26 March, 1952, the son of Anthony William Garthwaite (1917-1972), and his wife the Hon Waveney Mancroft Samuel (1916-1986), scion of the Barons Mancroft; and married in 1982, Caroline C. Willbourne, daughter of Thomas William Willbourne and his wife the former Nellie Adams, by whom he had three sons, Oliver Julian (born 1986), Felix Sebastian (born 1987), and Piers Marcus (born 1990).
Nicholas Garthwaite was a grandson of Sir William Garthwaite, 1st Baronet (cr 1919) (1874-1956), and a grandson of the 1st Baron Mancroft (1872-1942).
