Andrew Edward Buxton, who died 27 July, 2024, aged 89, was a scion of the Buxton baronets.
He was born 3 March, 1935, the elder son of Major Desmond Gurney Buxton, DL (1898-1987), a High Sheriff of Norfolk, by his wife the former Rachel Mary Morse (1906-1994), scion of that landed gentry family; and married 30 March, 1967, Barbara Anne Lloyd (1932-2022), daughter of Capt Cyril Gascoigne Lloyd (1887-1965), and his wife the former Violet Madge Preston (1896-1979), scion of the Preston baronets, by whom he had issue, a son, Harry (born 23 Oct, 1972), and two daughters, Laura (born 31 May, 1968), and Nicola (born in 1971).
