Sir Andrew Baird, 11th Baronet, died 18 February, 2024. He was 77.
James Andrew Gardiner Baird, was born 2 May, 1946, son of Sir James Richard Gardiner Baird, 10th Baronet (1913-1997), and his wife the former Mabel Ann (Gay) Tempest Gill (who died 2010), daughter of Algernon Gill, of Toronto; and succeeded to the baronetcy (cr 1696) on his father's demise, 13 March, 1997.
He married in 1984 (div 1988), Jean Margaret Jardine (born 2 March, 1951), daughter of Brigadier Sir Ian Liddell Jardine, 4th Baronet (1923-1982), and his wife Priscilla Daphne Scott-Phillips (who died 13 April, 2012), by whom he leaves issue, one son, Alexander Baird (born 28 May, 1986), who now succeeds as 12th baronet.
