The Lady Katherine Lucy Lambart, who died 22 December, 2023, aged 68, was a scion of the Earls of Cavan. She was born 2 March, 1955, the third daughter of the 12th Earl of Cavan (1911-1988), and the Countess of Cavan (1921-2005) nee Essex Lucy Cholmondeley, scion of the Barons Delamere; and married 25 Oct, 1978 (div 1986) Lorenzo Ruiz Barrero, son of Lorenzo Ruiz Jimenez, of Madrid, and his wife the former Guadalupe Barrero Alonso, by whom she had issue, a son, Lorenzo Cavan (born 28 Aug, 1980), and a daughter, Natasha (born 1982).
