The engagement was announced 9 December, 2023, between Ferdinand John Patrick de la Poer Beresford (born 18 Oct, 1994), scion of the Marquesses of Waterford, son of Valentine Tristram de la Poer Beresford (born 10 Oct, 1965), of Dorset, & his wife the former Evelyne Deborah Hoskin (born 1966), & Ella Alice Wilson (born 1996), eldest daughter of Craig A. Wilson, of Surrey, by his wife the former Claire E. Whorlow.
Ferdinand de la Poer Beresford is a great-grandson of the 7th Marquess of Waterford (1901-1934).
