Anthony David Loehnis, CMG, died 20 December, 2023. He was 87.
He was a diversified financial services company executive. Member management county Ditchley Foundation, United Kingdom, since 1992; county member Baring Foundation, since 1994; deputy chairman Public Works Loan Board, since 1996. Second lieutenant British Army, 1954-1956.
He was born 12 March, 1936, son of Commander Sir Clive Loehnis, KCMG, RN (1902-1992), and his wife the former Rosemary Beryl Ryder (1909-2006), scion of the Earls of Harrowby; and married 7 Aug, 1965, Jennifer Forsyth Anderson (born 10 Nov, 1937), scion of that landed gentry family, daughter of Sir Donald Forsyth Anderson (1906-73), and his wife the former Margaret Elaine Llewellyn (1913-2002), scion of the Llewellyn baronets, by whom he had issue, three sons, Dominic (born 31 Aug, 1967), Alexander (born 12 May, 1969), and Barnaby (born 21 July, 1971).
