The engagement was announced 8 December, 2023, between Alfred William Leighton (Freddie) Anstey, descended from the Earls of Devon, son of Henry Michael Anstey (born 5 October, 1965), of King's Cliffe, Northamptonshire, and his wife the former Kate Louise Harris, & Emma Louise Denison (born 1994), youngest daughter of Robert Paul Denison (born 1963), of Earley, Reading, and his wife the former Alison Jane Bottomley (born 1968).
