The engagement was announced 18 Nov 2023, between Luke Richard Harries (born 21 July, 1996), eldest son of the Hon Mark Harries (born 1966), of London, and his wife the former Priscilla Ann Hutchings (born 1965), and Capucine J.C. Brunet, youngest daughter of Gilbert and Suzanne Brunet of Paris.
Luke Harries is a grandson of Richard Douglas Harries, Baron Harries of Pentregarth, FRSL, FLSW (born 2 June 1936) is a retired bishop of the Church of England and former British Army officer. He was the Bishop of Oxford from 1987 to 2006. From 2008 until 2012 he was the Gresham Professor of Divinity.
