The engagement was announced 29 November, 2023, between Harry Christopher Egerton (born 10 August, 1984), scion of the Egerton landed family of Mountfield, son of Mark Philip Egerton (born 23 September, 1947), of North Yorkshire, and his wife the former Cara Marilyn Farnes, & Alice Polveir Littleboy (born 1990), scion of that landed family, daughter of Peregrine Aldan Eldon Littleboy (born 1961), of Cambridgeshire, and his former wife the former (Mary) Louise Benson (now Ferrand), of North Yorkshire.
