Josephine Anne Jeffcock, who died 3 July, 2023, aged 90, was a scion of the Warde-Norbury landed gentry family.
She was born Josephine Anne Norbury, 8 August, 1932, the only daughter of Major Harold George Norbury, DL, JP (1899-1974), of Hooton Pagnell Hall, Doncaster, who assumed by Royal Licence 1958 the additional surname of Warde before that of Norbury, by his wife the former Mary Betty Warde-Aldam (1909-1978), scion of that landed gentry family; and married 14 December, 1963, David Philip Jeffcock (1933-2002), of Caroline Terrace, London SW1, scion of that landed family, son of William Philip Jeffcock (1891-1963), of Worlingham Grove, Beccles, Suffolk, and his wife the former Margaret Renee Cayley (1892-1975), scion of the Cayley baronets, by whom she had issue, two sons, John and George, and and two daughters Venetia and Cordelia.
