Donald Maclaren of Maclaren, Chief of the Name & Arms of Maclaren, died 22 July, 2023, aged 68.
The Maclaren of Maclaren's home was at Balquhidder, Perthshire, Scotland.
He was born in 1954, son of Donald Maclaren of Maclaren (1910-1966), Chief of the Clan Maclaren (whose chieftainship was recognised by the Lord Lyon King of Arms, 7 February, 1958), and his wife the former Margaret Sinclair Miller; & married 1978, Maida-Jane Aitchison, by whom he had issue. His son, Florian (born 1981), succeeds to the clan chieftainship.
