Sylvia, Viscountess Marchwood (died 2023)

 Sylvia, Viscountess Marchwood, who died 29 May, 2023, aged 84, was the second wife and widow of the 3rd Viscount Marchwood.

She was the former Sylvia Kathleen Bastin, daughter of Maj-Gen George Edward Restalick Bastin, CB (1901-60), CBE, of Dunmow Hill, Fleet, Hampshire, and his wife the former Frances Gwendoline Ursula Venning (1909-76); and married firstly, 14 November, 1959, Capt Peter Edward Willis Fleming, of Colston Basset, Nottinghamshire, fourth son of Brig. John Browne Phillimore Willis Fleming, CBE (1895-1967), of Pyle Manor, Chale, Isle of Wight, by his wife the former Eirene Charrington (1901-1987), scion of that landed gentry family; she married 2ndly, 13 December, 2001, the 3rd Viscount Marchwood (born 22 May, 1936), son of the 2nd Viscount (1912-79), and his wife the former Pamela Colton-Fox (died 1979). Her second husband died 3 October, 2022.

Viscountess Marchwood leaves issue from her first marriage.
