Sarah Veronica Henderson (nee Crawley), who died 2 June, 2023, aged 90, was a scion of the Crawley landed family.
She was born in 1933, daughter of Maj Cosmo Stafford Crawley (1904-1989), and his wife the former Rosemary Christie-Miller (1907-1999), scion of that landed gentry family; she married 21 December, 1955, Capt Ian Alexander Henderson (1918-1968), scion of the Barons Faringdon, son of Maj the Hon Alec Puleston Henderson (1876-1931), and his wife the former Gladys Rhoda Maclean (d 28 January, 1953), by whom she had issue, two sons, Alexander Cosmo (b & d 1956), and Shamus Alec (born 24 February, 1958).
