The Lady Jennifer Jane Ponte, who died 15 June, 2023, aged 82, was a scion of the Earls Howe.
She was born 12 May, 1941, second daughter of the 6th Earl Howe (1908-1984), and his first wife the former Priscilla Crystall Frances Weigall (1914-1997), scion of the Weigall baronets; and married 6 September, 1962, Alan Joseph Ponte, son of Capt Leo Ponte, and his wife the former Rosie Aptaker, by whom she had issue, four sons, David, Gideon, Joshua and Luke, and a daughter, Rebecca.
