Diana, Lady Lewthwaite (née Tomkinson), who died 30 January, 2023, aged 79, was the widow of Sir David Lewthwaite, 5th and last Baronet.
She was born in 1943, daughter of William Robert Tomkinson (1909-1980), and his wife the former Helen Mary Blane (1913-2000), and was a granddaughter maternally of Sir Charles Blane, 4th & last Baronet (1879-1916); and married 11 Oct, 1969, David Rainald Lewthwaite (born 26 March, 1940), son of Sir Rainald Lewthwaite, 4th Baronet (1913-2003), and his wife the former Margaret Elizabeth Edmonds (died 1990). Her husband succeeded his father in the baronetcy, 15 Apr, 2003, and died 28 July, 2004.
Lady Lewthwaite leaves issue, two daughters, Emma Victoria (born 26 Nov, 1971), and Mary-Claire (born 11 Dec, 1972).
