The Hon Christopher (Kit) Orde-Powlett, who died 11 January, 2023, aged 91, was a scion of the Barons Bolton.
(Patrick) Christopher Orde-Powlett was born 9 April, 1931, younger son of the 6th Baron Bolton (1900-1963), and his wife the former Victoria Mary Villiers (1903-1933), scion of the Earls of Clarendon and a descendant of the 19th century prime minister Lord John Russell.
He married 29 September, 1962, (Elizabeth) Jane Kent, daughter of Arthur Spencer Kent, by whom he had issue, two daughters, Rosamund Jane (b 22 July, 1964), and (Heather) Victoria (born 5 Feb, 1966).
