The engagement was announced 15 October, 2022, between Henry Augustus Glaister (born 9 July, 1994), elder son of Stephen Blair Glaister (born 1958), of Alresford, Hampshire, and his wife the former Melita Louise Hely-Hutchinson (born 6 June, 1962), scion of the Earls of Donoughmore, & Miranda Alice Hawley (born 15 July,1996), middle daughter of Charles J. Hawley, of Colton, Staffordshire, and his wife the former Victoria Louise Prideaux (born 26 May, 1967), descended from the Birch-Reynardson landed family, and the Ponsonby Barons De Mauley.
