Sir John Robert Mowbray, 6th Baronet, died 15 September, 2022, aged 90.
He was born 1 March, 1932, son of Sir George Robert Mowbray, 5th Baronet (1899-1969), and his wife the former Diana Margaret Hughes (1905-96), daughter of Sir Robert Hughes, 12th Baronet, and succeeded to the baronetcy (created 1880), on his father's death, 9 November, 1969.
Sir John married 3 July, 1957, Lavinia Mary Hugonin [1936-2020], daughter of Lt-Col Francis Edgar Hugonin [1897-1967], and his wife the former Joan Mary Pennyman [1904-67], descended from the Heron-Maxwell baronets, by whom he had three daughters.
His wife died 31 December, 2020. The baronetcy now becomes extinct.
