The engagement was announced 20 August, 2022, between Bertram Edward Johnston Weatherall [born 1989], son of [Edward] Percy Keswick Weatherall, of Cowhill, Dumfriesshire, and his wife the former Clare Mary Johnston [born 1960], descended from the Paget baronets, and Georgina Helena Hilton [born 16 September, 1990], daughter of Andrew Graham Hilton [born 1953], of Battersea, London, and his wife the former Victoria Jane Sanders [now Mrs Victoria Donald, of Grouville, Jersey, Channel Islands].
Bertram Weatherall is a nephew of Isobel, Countess of Strathmore & Kinghorne, first wife of the late 18th Earl of Strathmore & Kinghorne.
