The engagement was announced 30 July, 2022, between Thomas Edward Pinsent [born 1977], son of David Hume Pinsent [born 1943], of Brucheville, Normandy, and his wife the former Alexandra Therese Emblyn Kendall [born 1946] [now Mrs Mrs Alexandra Pinsent of Crowborough, Sussex], and Anne Elizabeth MacLeod Dewhurst [born 1987], daughter of Charles Frederick Dewhurst [born 29 August, 1946], of Winchcombe, Gloucestershire, and his wife the former Lindsay Mary MacLeod Phillimore [born 20 July, 1951], scion of the Barons Phillimore.
Thomas Pinsent descends from an elder brother of the 1st Pinsent baronet.
