David Edward Shirley Robson, who died 15 August, 2022, aged 75, was a descendant of the Earls Ferrers.
He was born 2 January, 1947, son of the Rev Canon John Maurice Robson [1911-1989], sometime vicar of Shirley Derbyshire and Canon of Derby Cathedral, and his wife the Lady Jane Penelope Justice Shirley [1925-2020], daughter of the 12th Earl Ferrers [1894-1954], and his his wife the former Hermione Justice Morley [1890-1969]; and married 1stly, 16 June, 1973 [div 1976], Carol Diana Durose, daughter of Wilfrid Durose; married 2ndly, 1980, Josephine Anne Charlotte Manwaring-Wright [1954-2021], daughter of Richard Luke Manwaring-Wright [1923-2007] and the former Stephanie M.F. Wright, by whom he had issue, two sons, Oliver Charles Richard [born 1986], and Jonathan Hugo David [born 1990].
He was widowed 25 Dec, 2021.
