Rachel Rolt, who died 28 June, 2022, was a scion of the Fortescue-Brickdale landed gentry family.
She was born in 1930, a daughter of Capt Matthew Fortescue-Brickdale, OBE [1890-1969], and his wife the former Cicely Muriel Bankes [1890-1983], scion of that landed family; and married in 1951, Major John Baynton Rolt [1913-2000], son of the Very Rev Cecil Henry Rolt [1865-1926], and his wife the former Mary Foxley-Norris, by whom she had four sons and a daughter.
The funeral takes place at St Peter's, Budleigh Salterton, 19 July, 2022.
