The engagement was announced 9 July, 2022, between Guy Edward Weare Blakeney [born 1973], son of [Henry J] Mervyn Blakeney [born 1938], and his wife the former Verity Williams, and Leonie Kira E. Schroder [born 1974], daughter of the late [Baron] Bruno Lionel Schroder [1933-2019], descended from the Darell baronets, and his 1st wife Patricia Leonie Mary [Piffa] Schroder [nee Holt, born 1942].
Leonie Schroder married firstly 1997 [div 2014] Nicholas Francis Fane [1957-2014], scion of the Earls of Westmorland, by whom she had two sons, Jack and Charlie, and a daughter, Mara.
