The Hon Thomas Ian Brassey, scion of the Barons Brassey of Apethorpe, died 7 April, 2022. He was 87.
He was born 14 June, 1934, the second son of the 2nd Baron Brassey of Apethorpe, MC, TD [1905-1967], and his 1st wife the former Crystal Gloria Gore [1906-1962]; and married 28 September, 1960, Valerie Christine Finlason, daughter of Alan David Finlason [1904-1980], and his wife the former Norah Christine Tutin [1908-1964], by whom he had a son, Thomas [b 20 Oct, 1971], and three daughters, Miranda [born 25 Feb, 1963], Louise [b 27 Oct, 1964], and Davina [born 24 Sept, 1969].
